Is a certificated diamond a good diamond?

A certificate from an Independent laboratory can be useful in confirming that your diamond
is the quality you think it is. However, just because a diamond has a certificate does not
necessarily mean that it is a good quality or even a good purchase. It just means that it
has been graded according to the criteria of colour, clarity, cut and carat. Some diamond
grading laboratories are more independent and reputable than others.
