Why
is cut important?
The cut describes both the shape of the diamond and the
quality of skill that has been used
in cutting the diamond. To release the fire and brilliance
of a good quality diamond relies on
the stone being cut to good proportions and geometry, with
an even arrangement of its facets
(edges). This can be where a stone with a good colour and
clarity grade is let down.
At Green + Benz we cast an experienced eye over all our
stones to ensure that the quality
of cut meets our high standards.
